On October 10th, the Society of Urologic Prosthetic Surgeons (SUPS) and the Sexual Medicine Society of North America (SMSNA) jointly hosted a cadaver lab focused on inflatable penile implants and artificial urinary sphincters
SUPS holds this annual surgical lab to provide hands-on education & training in urologic implant surgical techniques, primarily for urology residents and clinical fellows in the US. Dr. Park joined as one of the surgical demonstrators, and he led one cadaver lab session for inflatable penile prosthesis training
South Korea ranks 2nd worldwide in annual inflatable penile implant procedures, performing more surgeries than any other country outside the United States. Dr. Park will continue his research and educational efforts to further establish South Korea as a leader in the field of prosthetic urology in the Asia Pacific
