On April 20th, the Korean Society of Sexual Medicine and Andrology held the Inflatable Penile Prosthesis Symposium with Cadaver Lab at Seoul St. Mary’s University hospital in Gangnam, South Korea. This symposium featured in-depth lectures and practical knowledge, including the first ever cadaver lab on inflatable penile prosthesis in Korea. Prof. Min Gu Park of Korea University hospital and Dr. Park co-organized this symposium to introduce a proper education program for inflatable penile prosthesis in Korea
The Korean professors of urology and members of the KSSMA were in attendance. Dr. Sevann Helo, who is a professor of urology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN was invited as a faculty to provide further expertise for the course. Dr. Park and Dr. Helo served as proctors, conducting lectures with other faculties along with discussions in the morning and surgical techniques in the afternoon cadaver lab session
