On January 7th, the Korean Society of Sexual Medicine & Andrology held its first meeting for the 18th executive directors at the Walker Hill Hotel in Seoul, South Korea. During this meeting, Dr. Park was officially appointed as an executive director of prosthetics and will serve this position for the next two years from Jan 1st, 2023 to Dec 31st, 2024 – overseeing academic activities for prosthetic urology, especially inflatable penile implants
South Korea is currently the second-largest market in the world behind the U.S. for inflatable penile implant surgeries, thus indicating a high demand and need for more training courses in this subspecialty. As executive director on prosthetics, Dr. Park plans to organize more prosthetic urology-related conferences, including online and offline training courses in the near future
