The Federation of ASEAN Urological Association (FAUA) held its 2023 Scientific Congress from September 7th-9th at the Tam An Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The FAUA is a group of urological societies in the Southeast Asian region including countries such as Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia and Vietnam, etc. It was the first in-person conference since the COVID-19 pandemic ended and many urologists from various countries attended
Dr. Park was invited as a faculty to give a lecture on inflatable penile implants during the andrology session of the conference. The Southeast Asian region is experiencing increasing interest and demand for quality-of-life medicine due to continued economic growth. Dr. Park hopes to pursue further academic exchanges with doctors in Southeast Asia
